Stained Glass continued

I really like how the whole technique fromy my lotus painting turned out, so I've really been playing with this. I think I am actually going to focus my collection on this, because it is quite different, and can be transferred to a lot of different things. I can definitely see some furniture done with this style, and I'm eager to get my hands on a coffee table to try it. When I do I am going to get a poly-resin to pour over it though, so it has a hard and very glasslike surface. I think a plant stand or small bookshelf would also look nice. Anyhoot, here's a few more paintings with the technique. I am not sure what to call it, but since I am taking inspiration from stained glass paintings, I am calling it that for now. The flowers themselves are inspired by a book of Indian textile design, which I find to be absolutely gorgeous, and translates very well in this medium. Obviously they aren't exact copies, but they are heavily influenced. I hope to pick up some books on Art Deco glasswork to get a feel for some other styles as well.
