Lull in progress
Well, I'm sorry I haven't updated this blog lately. Yes, I am still wroking on lots of different projects, I just haven't taken pictures, or finished some of them, or felt they were worthy of posting.
Paintings: I had three paintings end up in the dumpster. BLEH. The thing about the technique I use is that if part of it starts to not line up, the whole piece is ruined and looks terrible. But I am working on a larger piece currently that has so far looked great with the initial sketches.
Furniture: I'm finishing up my Emily the Strange bookshelf, will start on the Kill Bill dresser, and the Nintendo coffee table within the next month, I hope.
Household doodads: Making two curio boxes, one for a friend's baby shower, one for my own self.
Clothing: I got a giant HEAP o' clothes to recon from a neighbor, and have finished four of the eight pieces I am getting from them. Will post as soon as I can sit down and model the clothes for a camera.
Since I just got a job, I am hanging up the brush for a few weeks to see how I can fit it into my schedule. I am trying to get shirt designs up on cafe press to start making some cash on the Hoodlum Storefront, but not sure when those will be available. My time has suddenly become very precious!
